Introduction

Welcome to St.Gregorios Public School and Junior college (SGPS) Mulund(West). SGPS Mulund started in the year 2002. We believe in imparting quality education, shaping minds and touching lives of the students and parents who put their trust in us.

We also believe in the holistic development of the students. Along with academic excellence ,we also emphasis on personality development,and other innovative ways through life skills, leadership quality, team building and other innovative ways to inculcate strong values to develop a strong individual for a better India. SGPS serves from Nursery to standard 12th imparting State Board Education with supportive management whose continuous support to our ideology of education has enabled the school to come so far.

Curriculum

The new curriculum formulated by the state for secondary school certificate( SSC) board has new additions in terms of new lessons, important events and practical learning.

Students studying in class 1st to 10th of our school will focus on a practical approach along with equal importance to theory. Lessons will also provide a way of learning through practical exercises. To improve communication skills, we provide a student with an integrated knowledge for Languages, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Environmental Science, Art and craft. The child is assessed throughout the year through Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation. We prepare our students for competitive exams like Dr.Homi Bhabha, Neltas, Olympiads, Scholarships, AIMS, IQ Conquest, Kala Academy. The curriculum for this phase focuses on the career building of a student apart from academic achievements.
